The State Board of Education considered revisions to the Texas cirriculum standards related to the teaching of evolution so that weaknesses in the theory would no longer be taught. The Texas Conservative Coalition issued this letter in support for the State Board of Education's efforts to revise the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills for Science, and requested that evolution continue to be taught as a theory that has strengths and weaknesses.
