Frank Corte, Jr.
State Representative Frank J. Corte, Jr. was elected to the Texas House to represent District 122. Representative Corte is a small business operator who has been involved in property management and land development. He also has extensive experience in start-up operations of a variety of small businesses.
In 1982, Representative Corte was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps where he served three years on active duty. He then joined the United States Marine Corps Reserve and was activated during the Gulf War. After the terrorist attacks on 9/11, Rep. Corte was called back to active duty and was sent to serve in Egypt. In 2002, he graduated from the prestigious Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Currently, he is a Colonel and continues to serve various tours of active duty, most recently having served a tour in Iraq for 6 1/2 months.
Frank and and his wife Valerie have three children and reside in Corsicana, Texas.

This bill updates the Women's Right to Know Act to ensure that every pregnant woman be given the opportunity to listen to the heartbeat and view an ultrasound image of her unborn child before having an abortion. House Bill 36 protects the right to life.
